Founded by local life sciences entrepreneurs and Noblegene Development, LLC, the Cool Springs Life Sciences Center (CSLSC) is committed to providing a world class bioscience business environment that benefits tenant companies and the biotech community by providing a unique campus, dedicated to life sciences research, development, and manufacturing. Infrastructure is in place to provide state of the art systems for redundant power, HVAC, IT systems, chemical waste handling, and much more.

The infrastructure of this 15-acre campus is specifically designed to accommodate the unique needs of life science and biotechnology firms, particularly those engaged in biologics, pharmaceuticals, therapeutics, medical devices, and associated specialty manufacturing. This expanding campus will soon house biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device manufacturing in space built-to-suit the unique needs of each tenant. At full build-out, the three buildings in Phase 1 are planned to encompass over 160,000 square feet.

The first of three Cool Springs Life Sciences Center buildings, totaling 32,000 square feet, is home to BioMimetic Therapeutics (BMTI). BMTI is emerging as the world leader in the development of bone regeneration and the commercialization of drug-device combination products for the repair of orthopedic injuries.

The second building, designed to provide a 21st Century, GMP-rated life sciences manufacturing environment, began construction in early 2008 and will be available for occupancy in late 2009. This building is 90,000 square feet with approximately 60% already committed for occupancy.

Design is underway for the third building in Phase I, estimated at 42,000 square feet. Additionally, Phase II can accommodate approximately 100,000 square feet of space for future life sciences development.
